WANDLE TRAIL

The Wandle Trail follows the river Wandle, and runs for about 12.5 miles (20 km) from East Croydon to Wandsworth.

There are 2 main starting points:
Wandle Park, East Croydon (12 mile / 19 km walk) or Carshalton Ponds, Carshalton (9 mile / 14 km walk).

The trail passes through Colliers Wood following the river at Abbey Mills and along Wandle Park. It ends in Wandworth where the Wandle joins the Thames

THE WIMBLEDON WAY HERITAGE WALK

This is an interesting trek for anyone interested in the history of SW19.

The Wimbledon Way is a heritage walk from Wimbledon town centre to Wimbledon Village and on to the Common and the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

It connects Wimbledon’s fantastic assets – its rich history, theatres, listed buildings, influential people, open spaces and sport.
